Women of the Summit Career Camp – March 9, 2024. Beaver Run Resort, Breckenridge

Women of the Summit (WOTS), a local non-profit committed to empowering women in Summit County, Colorado, is thrilled to announce our first Career Camp. This all-day Saturday event will have guest speakers, breakout sessions, and networking time for all working women of Summit County.

Lean into your career growth and take control of your income. Connect with like-minded
working women and take away tools and resources you can immediately put to work. With
breakout tracks following GROWTH and LEADERSHIP, this event has something for
everyone…including our allies who are essential in influencing systematic change in culture and
policies. All are invited.


Career Camp speakers are as follows:


Keynote Speaker: Leslie Vickery


Leslie is an author, podcast host, business leader, and advocate for unleashing the power of
women. She is the founder of ClearEdge, a company dedicated to transforming the business of
talent through marketing, recruiting, and leadership development services, and co-founder of
ARA, an organization that seeks to attract, retain and advance women in technology – 6,000

Main Stage Presenter: Susan Frew

Susan Frew, a celebrated figure in SMB is not just an accomplished entrepreneur; she’s also an
AI-certified expert with a deep understanding of modern recruitment strategies. Having
transformed Sunshine Home Services into a Denver, Colorado household name, Susan’s journey
reflects her innovative spirit and commitment to excellence. Her groundbreaking work has been
pivotal for women in the trades, inspiring many to forge their own paths to success.

Main Stage Presenter: Kathleen Keegan

Katherine began her career working with immigrants and refugees in Boston. This work led her
to pursue a master’s of science in social work at The University of Texas at Austin. Since then,
Katherine has managed AmeriCorps, workforce readiness, and career coaching development
programs in Texas, Indiana, and Colorado. In August 2019, she joined the Colorado Department
of Labor & Employment as the Director of the Office of the Future of Work leading the state’s
efforts to raise awareness about the future of work, build digital equity, and through the State
Apprenticeship Agency, expand access to registered apprenticeship programs.

Main Stage Presenter: Michele Nosari

As a feminist financial advisor, Michele provides financial planning for working women and
couples who value the environment and social equity. Michele serves as board president for
Women Of The Summit and is recognized as the engineer of the Women in Business Grant. This
program provides funds to support working women in their quest to increase their income and
close the gender wage gap in Summit County. Michele regularly presents on financial wellness
topics for women including the upcoming Power Of We conference in Salida, Colorado.

Breakout Speaker: Erin Robison

Erin Robison, founder of TruPotential Group in 2019, excels as an executive coach and
leadership consultant. TruPotential Group is dedicated to empowering individuals to enhance
their influence through effective communication. Known for her ability to develop organizational
and individual capabilities, Erin’s passion lies in inspiring others to adopt new perspectives,
make significant shifts, and reach their full potential, leading to improved productivity and
performance. She focuses on her clients’ most important outcomes, blending a warm, engaging

Breakout Speaker: Carmela Montenegro

Carmela Montenegro is a DEI consultant with a background in outdoor education, outdoor retail,
and cross-cultural communication. She is a first-generation Filipina-American from Keystone,
CO, of the Ute tribal lands. Carmela will be speaking on Transitioning from “Manager” to
“Equitable Leader”. The workforce keeps changing but leadership development stays stagnant.

manufacturing segments. As a female executive, Lori knows first-hand what it takes to climb the
